Farran Montessori School offers Morning and After School Care, Monday – Friday to all pupils of Farran Primary School. We are located across the road from the primary school. We walk children to and from school as required by parents.

Carol Lucey and Claire Hodge are the co-ordinators of this service.

Carol has worked in Farran Montessori School for the past 15 years and is the deputy manager.

She has a BA in Montessori Education and also holds a Sport, Health and Leisure degree.

Claire has worked in early years education for 8 years and obtained an Honors degree in Early Childcare and Education.

Breffní Hyde owns and manages the school. Breffní has worked in early education for 36 years. She holds two Montessori diplomas and a Dept. of Education higher diploma in teaching.

We offer the following:

Morning care 8.30am -9.10am

After school care: 2.00-5.30pm

You may use this service occasionally or on a regular basis once we have received a completed application form.

We will collect your child at 2pm or 3pm from Farran Primary School, and, if you wish, put him / her on the school bus at 3pm.

If someone other than the specified person is collecting your child, they must use the password you have provided in the application form.

Please let us know by text, phone call or email if your child will not be attending due to illness or play date etc.

If you wish to avail of this service, you must book at least 24 hours in advance to be guaranteed a place.

Cost

8.30am onwards, €3

2pm – 3pm: €5 3pm-4pm: €5

2pm – 3:30pm: €8 3pm-4.30pm: €8

2pm-4pm: €10 3pm-5pm: €10

2pm- 5pm: €15 3pm- 5.30pm: €13

2pm-5.30pm: €18

NCS will give a discount of at least €2.14 per hour.

You can apply for this on www.ncs.gov.ie

Once you receive your child’s chick code please email me a screenshot of it and I can then register your child for the NCS subsidy.

Please note NCS can not be backdated.

A bill will be issued at the end of each month.

Payments can be made by cash or bank transfer, and should be paid within a week of receiving the bill.
