Welcome to 4th and 5th Class!

We are a kind, curious and energetic group who love learning and exploring new ideas each day. Our classroom is a caring and inclusive space where friendships flourish, everyone feels valued and each child is encouraged to do their very best.

Ms. Beechinor is our class teacher, guiding and inspiring us every day. We are very lucky to have an incredible support team who work together to help us grow and succeed. Our SEN teachers: Ms. McCarthy, Ms. O’Connell, Ms. Bergin, our Nead 3 class teacher, Mr. Lehane, along with our wonderful SNAs: Anne, Monica, Tracey and Noreen, are all part of our classroom team. Together, they help, guide and support us with enthusiasm, kindness and encouragement, ensuring that everyone feels included and supported.

We love project work, creating new ideas and developing our problem-solving skills. From engaging discussions to hands-on activities, we enjoy learning in ways that spark our curiosity and creativity. We are a very active class and take great pride in our participation in sport, music, art, drama and STEM.

In 4th and 5th Class, we are fortunate to have opportunities to get involved in Sciath na Scol hurling, camogie and football, FAI soccer, Credit Union quizzes and Scór na bPáistí. We also love working with digital devices and technology and taking part in exciting STEM initiatives.
